Class Information/Private Tuition

TheatreMax offers drama classes for all ages. Students will have fun and gain confidence, concentration and teamwork skills.

Each class will work towards performances/workshops of productions.

All classes will cater to the needs and experience of the participants.

TheatreMax also offers AMEB Exam/Eisteddfod Tuition

• Individual or small group tuition.
• Students taught drama, prose & poetry in line with AMEB Speech and Drama syllabuses.
• Students have the opportunity to compete in Eisteddfods.
• Students will be assessed by expert examiners in November of each year. (Cost of exam to be set by NSW AMEB)
• Exam reports provide a real measure of achievement.
• AMEB qualifications are widely recognised and respected.

When: Class times can be arranged to suit.

Cost: Private classes are $35/half hour or $60/hour. Study with a friend and share the cost!  

Exam costs are extra and are set by AMEB (generally between $75/$100)

• For students who plan to go on to tertiary studies, AMEB exams are recognised as the benchmark for entry into tertiary institutions Australia-wide. AMEB awards are also recognised internationally by such prestigious institutions as Cambridge University in the UK.
• The AMEB tradition extends back to 1887. In this time they have developed a comprehensive system of evaluation in all major areas of Music, as well as Speech and Drama. They provide the broadest range of support and assessment available. All syllabus designers and examiners are experts in their respective fields, and they are the only examination body with formal links to the major Australian universities and Ministers for Education.
